The challenge
The renewed interest in aperitivo culture created space for a locally rooted vermouth with contemporary design and credible gastronomy positioning. The objective was to build a differentiated product and commercial system capable of working across several markets and sales channels.
What I built
I developed VRMTH from the initial product and market idea into a premium consumer brand with a coherent product, positioning, packaging, pricing and multichannel go-to-market model.
My role
• Market and competitor analysis · Product concept and portfolio logic · Positioning, naming and storytelling · Coordination of production, packaging and creative partners · Pricing, COGS and margin logic · Website and online shop · Hospitality, retail and wholesale distribution · PR, content, social media, events and tastings · Expansion across Switzerland, Germany and Austria
The growth model
Leading cocktail bars established credibility and product discovery. Globus validated the premium retail positioning. Beverage wholesalers created repeatable trade access. The online shop connected brand building with direct sales and expanded availability across Europe. The Negroni Box created a repeatable format for regional collaborations, content, gifting, partnerships and cross-selling.
Results and proof
• Approximately 20% annual growth during the scaling phase · Market presence across Switzerland, Germany and Austria · Listing with Globus and major beverage wholesalers · Adoption by leading cocktail bars · European direct-to-consumer reach · A differentiated premium brand spanning several commercial channels. What this case demonstrates: The ability to identify a consumer opportunity, translate it into a market-ready product, build a differentiated brand, establish several routes to market and expand the model internationally.
